The 83rd Birmingham was the very first Company in England to be issued with the

Cross of St. George National Emblem, which is worn with pride on all our

uniforms in the various age group Sections of our Company.

The 83rd Birmingham Company Section, along with 5 other BB Companies from around the British Isles, was selected to represent The Boys' Brigade at the

Whitehall Cenotaph Remembrance Ceremony in London on 13th November 2005.

The 83rd Birmingham Company will be hosting the 2008 South East Divisional Founder's Day Parade, celebrating the 154th Birthday of our Founder,

Sir William A Smith (27th October 1854), the 125th Anniversary  of The Boys'

Brigade and our own 25th Anniversary.
